The Citadel is filled with sights that visitors can explore on their own. Anyone looking for a bit more should absolutely take part in a guided tour: a tour will allow you into otherwise closed-off areas such as the famous underground casemates, vaulted rooms and the powder magazine in Bastion Königin.

Tickets for entrance to the Citadel must still be purchased at the desk.

Further tours year-round by agreement:
Personal group-tours at the time of your choosing through the underground casemates, the medieval gravestones in the Bastion Königin, a climb up the Julius Tower and other special requests. (Also foreign-language and school group tours).
